Web Design Intern (Voluntary Basis) supporting CONVERGE project wanted!

"how, given the current situation, do we manage and allocate, today, the Earth’s resources for the survival of a projected global population of 9 to 10 billion people in 2050 - and for their offspring indefinitely?" (CONVERGE PROJECT 2009) The CONVERGE Project is looking for an intern to build us a functioning, accessible and intuitive website for the CONVERGE project

The role: The internship takes place over a minimum of 3 months, with a fully functional draft submitted after 1.5 months. The intern is expected to commit at least 3 days per week in our Bristol Office for at least three months. This can be flexible around other working / educational arrangements.

You will be expected to have:

  • A portfolio of previous website designs
  • Experience working with DRUPAL

The position is unpaid however offers valuable experience and mentoring through free access to the Open Platform: a career development programme ideal for individuals with, or looking for, purpose in their current or future vocation (http://www.openplatform.org.uk/).

The programme is extremely popular with 40 members currently enrolled. You will be mentored throughout your internship through the open platform, assisting you in deciphering your future career path and connecting you with opportunities.
